Lovin' Bums Charity Event

On May 6th, Lovin' Cup in Henrietta gave A Stylist Lane and other partners the opportunity to present a show for a given night. A Stylist Lane helped assist in gathering sponsors, entertainment, and coordinate an educational fashion show. We decided on presenting a charity event to send out to all organizations such as Ronald McDonald House, Autism Speaks, and many others. That night consisted of music by Svet, a hip-hop violinist, and the soulful voice of Champagne Brown, Lovin' Cup's very own performer. Goodknews Photography and Por Thai Republic Videography offered their services and Vitamin Water sponsored the night with free giveaways. A fashion show was presented to display models representing for each organization to raise money. A total of $300 was collected to send out to these organizations and was indeed a major success.

SUNY BROCKPORT COLLEGE
Suny Brockport College presents annual fashion shows. For the 25th year on April 2nd Brockport gave A Stylist Lane the opportunity to showcase designs according to a specific scene, in this case: African Safari.  A Stylist Lane designed custom pieces relating to the scene by the use of colors and prints. These two pieces represented A Stylist Lane's organization.

Bubble Up Fashion Show
Saturday, January 14th, 2011, Heat Night Club on East Avenue hosted a "Bubble Up Fashion Competition." This consisted of chosen contestants to style a design using "Bubble Wrap." I myself participated along with Areli Diaz, one of my models. With the assistance of the Stylist 911 team members, Sarah Lilo Safura (Make-up) and Khadijah Dainae (Hair-Styling), we were able to take the title of "Winner of Bubble up." "It was such an amazing experience, I had a bag loaded with a glue gun, scissors, and tape." I was so sketchy on how this was going to actually turn out, starting piece by piece we developed a "master piece." I started off with cutting the bubble wrap into strips to have a tight fit around her stomach, trimmed around her bra to have a reveling yet classy top. I then cut a piece to add a one shoulder design, I tapped it tight to the back and loose as it fell over her shoulder to the front view, I added glue to the top to add a rippling affect. I then took left over strips of bubble wrap and glued it around her lower waist till it began to appear as a tutu look. Below is the image of Areli Diaz and her "Bubble Up Design."

Forever Fashion 2011

I was honored when School Of The Arts (08 Grad) contacted me to judge at their upcoming fashion show, "Forever Fashion 2011." Along with Chris Cardwell (Goodknews Photography), Bee Duang (Exquisite Boutique), Chimere Lacole (Noir Bella).

Eye So Metric Stylist Competition

Third Strike. Third show in less than 6 months. This fashion show had a twist to it. I decided to coordinate a Stylist Competition called, "Eye So Metric." It was more like a behind the scene of my previous show, "Deep Diversion." This was an opportunity to offer any person whom loves styling to compete in making a design out of recyclable items. The winner of the competition was Kadejah Henderson and her model Brianna Verbridge and runner up was Chasmar Empire and his model Couture Empire. Winner received $100 check, 5 hour fashion course, free photo shoot including make-up and hair session.

Nathaniel's Originals presents A Fashion Night Out

I appeared in "Nathaniel's Originals" annual fashion show at the Memorial Art Gallery. The pieces were based off "A Fashion's Night Out." This pieces were sketched and designed to the top of the line.

Deep Diversion-"Think Green"
Venu Resto Lounge offered a position for their SuperHot Sunday events. Given the position to host fashion shows there was an honor. This  brought a different crowd yet a way to work within a successful business. I came up with the concept of "Think Green." "Deep Diversion," was a fashion show consisting of designs made out of newspaper, toilet paper, and etc.

Rochester's Fashion Week
My 1st show was a great success which led me into Rochester's very first "Fashion Week." I appeared in the clothing lines of Black Pearl and Sean Charles. This was an amazing experience, so many talented designers were well appreciated at this event. Overall, Great Showcase!

La Beaute

After working with local photographers and stylists, I then stepped out of the box and began a journey of my own. July 2010 I coordinated my own fashion show, "La Beaute" at the Seabreeze Firehouse. The meaning of "La Beaute" stood for "Beauty" in French. I wanted to release the beauty and creativity that I have yet to overcome within my passion for Fashion and its industry within the shows I've yet to create. This show featured designers; Bales Clothing (Buffalo), Conde Couture (Miami), and BiPolar Couture (Rochester)

Black Pearl

In the year of 2008 I was chosen from Hot Tips Hair Show to join as a model for the clothing line, "Black Pearl." Displayed on ads, flyers, and business cards brought much exposure and experience within involving myself into further modeling opportunities. My confidence and determination began to develop at this moment.
