I, Crystal L Torres have created a journey I thought I never could begin. As I began to model in local fashion shows here in Rochester, New York an interest of fashion began to develop. I decided to coordinate my own fashion shows in the year of 2010 and continue to do so. As of now I have coordinated 7 Fashion Shows; La Beaute, Deep Diversion, Eye So Metric, PINK, Africa Safari, Lovin'Bums, and Papion Premiere. I was offered opportunities to assist in coordinating high school and college fashion shows such as Rochester Early International College High School and Monroe Community College. I have also sponsored and raised money for Monroe Community College's Travel Club, and for St. Lukes Church for Youth for Change. I was featured as a designer in the Greentopia Festival as well as Memorial Art Gallery's Extreme Materials 2. I have styled for many editorial shoots such as Magix New and Vintage Boutique's website. I was featured as a local upcoming designer her in Rochester, New York by SouLife Magazine, HerRochester.com and Fashionably Late Wordpress. As I coordinate, I still enjoy featuring as a model in many fashion shows such as Roc the Runway and Nathaniel's Originals. I have worked as backstage manager for Rochester's Fashion Week. I released my new line of customed bowties on in November of 2011. The business has been quite a success and I am currently celebrating my bow ties 1 year anniversary. My bow ties are customed made using fabrics such as leather, suade, corduroy, legos, and more. I am in the process of increasing my knowledge of sewing, and will continue to learn all aspects of fashion. For more information feel free to use the contacts provided above.
